Once again I'd like to thank everyone who picked up a Custom Qee, or show catalogue. And all the artists who worked so hard on their heavy metal creations. Not forgetting the sponsors, and Forbidden Planet for all there help. This would not have been possible without each and every one of you.

This will be the last post to the heavymetalqee website. The project has been amazing fun, and a great learning curve. I am currently working on plans for the next event in 2014.

HMQ is finally coming to end. To celebrate the end of this momentous project, and to help cut a nice cheque for our chosen charity. We are auctioning the remaining custom 8” Qee on ebay....

The auctions are running now, and finish between 4pm and 6pm London time on the 15th of July. 1/3 of the proceeds from all the auctions will be Donated to The Garden House Hospice. 

All customs will come with a copy of the show catalogue and show flyer. There are some amazing creations here, so please dig deep! Raise some money for charity and get yourself a piece of art toy history.

The event maybe over and done with, but over the next few weeks, I'm going to be popping up with lots of little mini updates, to keep the fun going.

For those of you who didn't get to marvel over it at Forbidden Planet, I have uploaded a whole bunch of pictures of Lisa Rae Hansens amazing Heavy Metal Qee. They can be seen in the gallery here.

One of the stars of the show, and getting a lot of attention from numerous toy blogs, this really is one of the Customs of the year. The good news is, you still have a chance to own him, he is still available in the fugi.me store here.
